The Massachusetts Hispanic Scholarship Fund (MAHSF) was proud to award a total of $12,000 to four students for the 2024-2025 academic year. A $4,000 and $2,000 scholarship was awarded to our outstanding scholars at Lawrence High School at their Alumni Association Scholarship Banquet on May 22, 2025 and separately to two Chelsea High School students at their Senior Awards night on June 4, 2025. All four students will be moving on to college in the Fall.
The MAHSF Scholars overcame many challenges in their life yet still put forward excellent academic achievement, demonstrated hard work as well as sports, club and community involvement. Our scholars in high school took college courses at no cost at Bunker Hill Community College, Merrimack College and in the Fall will be attending Bentley College, Suffolk University and UMass Boston (2). Majors include Biology, Engineering Physics, Medicine and Business Marketing.
We are so proud to be able to present scholarships to these amazing students as they move ahead with their college careers. We look forward to continuing to work with Lawrence and Chelsea High School in 2025-2026.
