Candid was born on February 1, 2019, when Foundation Center and GuideStar joined forces. For a combined 88 years, Foundation Center and GuideStar each helped change the world by giving people the information they needed to do good. They combined their talent, technology, data, and leadership to become a new organization, Candid. Now, it’s easier than ever to get the information needed to create change. MAHSF is proud to be part of Candid’s network and provide the highest level of transparency about our organization.
The goal of MAHSF is to address some of the most challenging issues Hispanic students and families face in navigating scholarships while providing an impactful scholarship of its own. As a 501 c3 charitable organization we seek to work with high schools in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that have the largest Hispanic communities with the greatest need.
