The Massachusetts Hispanic Scholarship Fund (MAHSF) is thrilled to announce that Red Hat has renewed and expanded its investment with our organization for 2023-2024. As the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source software solutions, Red Hat uses a community-powered approach to deliver reliable and high-performing software technologies. Red Hat’s Cares program provides donations to non-profit organizations with a focus on STEM ( science, technology, engineering and mathematics). We have been delighted that the focus on our scholars from last year and in the future are often STEM related.
Red Hat has been a lead sponsor for MAHSF since our launch and we are happy to work with such a dedicated organization that not only cares about its own employees and technological community, but has a deep understanding of the importance of the communities where they work. Although headquartered in North Carolina, Red Hat has a significant presence in Massachusetts with sizable and important offices in Boston and Westford, MA.
For the 2022-2023 school year, the Massachusetts Hispanic Scholarship Fund has been working with Lawrence High School (LHS) to engage with students, guidance, faculty and parents and provide an impactful scholarship. In 2023-2024, we will continue to work with LHS and expand to work with Chelsea High School.
