The Massachusetts Hispanic Scholarship Fund (MAHSF) is proud to announce that Needham Bank and Red Hat have once again sponsored our organization, joining the many other sponsors that are working with us as we address some of the most challenging issues Hispanic students and families face in navigating scholarships and provide an impactful scholarship of our own.
Red Hat focuses its philanthropic and social impact investments on basic human needs, healthcare access, STEM education, and environmental sustainability. The company supports global communities through employee volunteer programs, charitable donations, matching gifts, and open-source social innovation projects that empower nonprofits with technical solutions. Although Red Hat is headquartered in Raleigh, NC, the company has a strong presence in Boston and Lowell Massachusetts. They have been a wholly owned IBM subsidiary since 2019.
For more than 130 years Needham Bank has worked to help build strong communities serving customers in Greater Boston, MetroWest and beyond with the same steadfast community values they were founded on.
MAHSF is excited to continue partnering with these great community leaders as we extend our collaboration with Lawrence High School (since 2022) and Chelsea High School (since 2023) to deliver impactful scholarships and engage with students, faculty, and parents.
