Beacon Bank (formerly Berkshire Bank and Brookline Bank) Renew their Commitment as Strategic Sponsor to Massachusetts Hispanic Scholarship Fund

Beacon Bank and The Massachusetts Hispanic Scholarship Fund (MAHSF) build on their strong relationship and partnership with our organization to re-commit as a strategic partner.  Beacon Bank, as a new brand combines Berkshire Bank (MA), Brookline Bank (MA), BankRI (RI) and PCSB Bank (NY).  Previously both Berkshire Bank and Brookline Bank sponsored MAHSF.  This name change began legally on September 1, 2025 and physically the brand showed up at branch locations on February 9, 2026.   This commitment from Beacon Bank represents a very strong commitment to our organization.  The bank will continue to serve as one of our key banking partners for our charity as we continue to grow our organization and serve additional students.

Headquartered in Boston, Beacon Bank centers its community narrative on promoting equal opportunity for economic prosperity by routing millions of dollars directly to local grass-roots organizations.  Beacon Bank defines its community involvement around a long-term commitment to local areas, driven by the belief that thriving communities are built through collaboration and care. By operating with local leadership and focusing resources on neighborhood revitalization, education, and safety nets, the bank aims to connect historic New England relationships with broader lending capacity to foster lasting positive change.

MAHSF looks forward to continuing to work with the Beacon Bank team as we continue to work with Lawrence High School (since 2022) and Chelsea High School (since 2023) to engage with students, guidance, faculty and parents and provide impactful scholarships of our own.
